I was so excited to meet this little boy, I had seen his Mommy’s belly start to grow during her Maternity session and had such a wonderful time with his family, especially Big Brother. With boys, generally, there are much more neutral colors with pops of deeper or brighter Earth tones. Today was no exception, we used browns and greens. He was going to have a Woodland themed nursery so of course, I had to add that in there as well.
One thing that I try to do is to order custom props for my clients. With his nursery being a woodland theme, I wanted to add some cute touches. So, this little man became an adorable FOX! I loved this little bonnet made by a local gal; BAC by Brit and came out absolutely perfect!
This sweet little family had only a few other requests; one that I love seeing how I can be original with. They wanted to use the flag and some military items. I had just gotten a few cute Marine props for my sessions and I was so excited to use them finally! Every time I see it, I think of the movie Top Gun. Wrong branch BUT OH SO CUTE!
To wrap up the sessions, we added in some family pictures with baby Landry. First and foremost, we had these two adorable boys take one together. For this, I wanted to make it cute. It’s hard to have something adorable and original that includes a two year old. Both boys looked so cute for this one! Daddy needed to get some love from little Landry too, he looks so tiny in his arms!
And we can’t forget about Mama; he seemed to settle down into her perfectly.
